Mr Maxwell Jomo Kazako

Mr Maxwell Jomo Kazako serves as the President of the Malawi Chamber of Mines and Energy, and is the Country Manager and Director of Sovereign Services Limited, a role he has held since 2023.

He brings more than 20 years of professional experience across the mining, banking, aviation, and health sectors. Before entering the mining industry, he held senior positions at Malawi Savings Bank (FDH), First Capital Bank, Malawi Airlines, Marie Stopes International (Banja La Mtsogolo), and MASM Medi-Clinics.

Mr Kazako holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Malawi (Chancellor College) and a Diploma in Business Administration from the Malawi Polytechnic (now MUBAS). He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration through ESAMI.
